How To Set FTP in Windows

FTP – File Transport Protocol – is part of TCP/IP used to copy files from one computer to another computer two ways of internet. Client can send files to server or can ask files from server. Here is the ways to set ftp of Dos, you can look at fig below:

To create FTP server in Windows, ensure that FTP server is active. You can learn how to set internet Information Services (IIS) at Administrative Tools of Control Panel. To make a Directory as FTP server can be set in Defaullt FTP site Properties like fig below. In home directory we determine FTP site Directory. You can learn about this FTP through the figures below at location C: \File FTP, and the permitted access of FTP server is read, write, and FTP server will remain file log for every user of FTP server. At Security Accounts, determined username and password, At figure describe here is no password, just need IP address of FTP server to be able to access files at FTP server.
If you wanna access files at FTP server, type ”ftp:IP address FTP server” then press enter. EX ”ftp:172.16.9.22” iF FTP server has no password then user can connect directly with files at FTP server. Let’s look at all of fig. below:

Setting FTP di Windows

FTP – File Transport Protocol – merupakan adalah bagian dari protokol TCP/IP yang digunakan untuk mencopy files dari komputer yang satu dengan komputer yang lain dengan 2 arah dalam internet. Client dapat mengirim file menuju ke server atau dapat meminta suatu file dari server. Berikut beberapa perintah ftp pada Dos dapat dilihat pada gambar berikut

Untuk membuat FTP server pada Windows Pastikan FTP server pada Windows aktif. Settingannya dapat dilihat pada Internet Information Services yang terdapat pada Administrative Tools di Control Panel . Untuk menjadikan suatu Directory sebagai FTP server dapat disetting pada Defaullt FTP site Properties seperti pada gambar 23. Pada home directory ditentukan lokasi FTP site Directory. Pada gambar 24 dapat dilihat FTP site Directory berada pada lokasi C: \File FTP, dan akses yang diizinkan pada FTP server adalah read, write dan FTP server akan meninggalkan file log untuk setiap pengunjung FTP server tersebut. Pada Security Accounts ditentukan username dan password, pada gambar 25 FTP server disetting tanpa password, jadi pengunjung FTP server hanya membutuhkan IP address FTP server untuk dapat mengakses file pada FTP server tersebut.

Jika ingin mengakses file yang terdapat pada FTP server ketikkan ”ftp:IP address FTP server” lalu enter. Contoh ”ftp:172.16.9.22” jika FTP server tidak di password maka user langsung terhubung dengan file yang terdapat pada FTP server seperti gambar.
